ME Free was born from a dream that has accompanied us for many years: to experience the sea not simply as a holiday, but as a way of life…
ME Free combines our initials — M for Mimi, E for Elena — but above all represents a broader concept: the freedom to choose a life closer to nature, slower, more authentic.

The project milestones
2025
The order and the beginning of construction
Signing of the contract with the Allures shipyard and start of construction in Cherbourg. The journey towards life on board begins: configuration, equipment and planning.
october 2026
The launch
The boat is ready for sailing. Following sea trials off the coast of Normandy, ME Free has arrived in the Mediterranean, where the official handover is taking place at La Grande Motte in the south of France.

Participation in the European Yacht of the Year 2027

Autumn 2027
Cannes and the Boat Show
ME Free will stop in Cannes to take part in the official presentation of the new Allures Horizon 47 model at the Boat Show (Le Grand Pavois). An important moment for the entire Allures project — and for us, an exciting milestone.
March 2028
Greece, our new home
ME Free will set off for Greece. From here, our real life on board begins: sailing among the Greek islands, discovering remote bays, culture, history, nature and the sea in all its forms.

Aluminium hull, fully retractable keel, offshore equipment and carefully designed interiors. This configuration combines the strength of a metal hull with a shallow draft, allowing access to pristine bays and shallow anchorages.

Towards Greece
Greece is a place we love deeply and have come to know through numerous experiences on board.
We are fascinated by its landscapes, culture, millennia of history, people, the simplicity of its villages, remote bays accessible only by sea, and the incredible variety of its islands.
We imagine days shaped by sailing, swimming in crystal-clear waters, walks along scenic trails, small tavernas overlooking the sea, sunsets at anchor and encounters with people who share the same passion for discovery and nature.

Today, the project is still under construction, just like our boat. Through this website, we share every stage of the journey, from the first hull welds to the day we cast off and begin a new life among the islands of the Mediterranean.
